Sticks'n'Sushi Cambridge was the brand's first restaurant to appoint Garners Food Service Equipment as the lead catering contractor.

Situated in a listed building that was once a reference library, the restaurant features a horseshoe-shaped theatre kitchen sporting a variety of exciting equipment. Calling on Yakitori grills and an island-style prep area to create luxury food, the client's specification was worked on tirelessly by our project team to ensure the restaurant couldn't be better-equipped for its style of serving. Walk-in chillers, custom sushi display cases and top-brand rice cookers all contribute toward the kitchen's high-end food output.

Equally important as the specification of the kitchen was its design and project management. Using our in-house design staff and multi-talented project team, we provided an integrated design and project management service tailored carefully to the client's needs. The kitchen is an integral part of the restaurant's aesthetic and was therefore high on the client's list of priorities. Our specialist Account Manager took the challenge head on - coordinating deliveries, installation staff and materials alongside the project's other contractors to provide a smooth installation.

The smart specification, functional design and acute attention to detail of this project set a high benchmark for the many casual dining endeavours that followed. With Sticks'n'Sushi restaurants in Oxford and Victoria already under our belt (and numerous others opening in central London 2018/19), we're proud to continue adding to a great relationship with this distinctive client.
