Primark Pricing Policy 2026: New £13 Store Rule Now Active Across UK Locations

Primark has introduced a new £13 per hour rule in all UK stores, effective this month. This change sees the company offering a higher average hourly pay rate for retail assistants across England, Scotland, and Wales, and up to £13.71 per hour for those working in London. Along with these pay changes, employees will continue to enjoy a 15% year-round discount and other benefits.

What Does the Pay Increase Mean for Workers?

In addition to the pay rise, Primark’s retail assistants will continue benefiting from a year-round 15% discount on their purchases, making it an attractive package for staff across the country. Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director, emphasized the importance of the pay increase, stating, “As retail becomes a more demanding environment, our colleagues play an increasingly important role to support our customers and the local communities we’re part of up and down the country.”
