Alchemilla eats up fine dining awards

Garners’ latest fine dining project Alchemilla has been officially recognised recently, both in the local area as well as on the national stage.

Having been tipped for a Michelin star since its opening, Alchemilla stands out in Nottingham for its plant-based cuisine and unique scenery, both of which have contributed to it being named Nottingham’s best fine dining restaurant¬†at the Nottinghamshire Food and Drink Awards.¬†On top of the local award, Alchemilla has also gone on to be ranked 53rd in the National Restaurant Awards’ Top 100! The restaurant has grown to be one of Nottingham’s most popular fine dining destinations and has done very well to have received such recognition within a year of opening.

We carried out extensive work during Alchemilla’s conversion from a Victorian coach house, ensuring the commercial kitchen design incorporated both functionality and aesthetics. The deep, slim archways meant that the entire kitchen was able to be seen from the front of house, while the low ceilings and cramped space meant heat spreading through the restaurant was a particular worry for the owner.

Our specialist Account Manager Paul Joslin tackled these problems through the meticulously detailed design process and smart equipment specification, such as the exclusive use of induction hobs to avoid unnecessary heat.
